Snoring is associated with:

Sleep Apneais a common sleep disorder that can be potentially very serious, and even life-threatening. The diagnostic tool for Sleep disorders is Polysomnography. A polysomnograph is a test of sleep cycles and stages through the use of continuous recordings of brain waves (EEG), electrical activity of muscles, eye movement (electrooculogram), breathing rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen saturation, and heart rhythm and direct observation of the person during sleep.
Polysomnography or Sleep studymay be done in the Hospital or at home . It may be performed over one or two nights, however usually a one night study is done as per the patient’s clinical requirements.

We provide premier sleep evaluation- Polysomnography (PSG), scoring & interpretation of sleep studies. We provide polysomnographic (PSG) & Multiple sleep latency testing (MSLT) scoring and prepare reports. We have an expert team of reputed Pulmonologist and technicians who have proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnograpy, backed by Neurologists, ENT and Cardiologists.
Reports:The raw recordings are manually scored for sleep stages as per AASM standards. The symptomatology of sleep disorders and differential diagnoses are addressed and reliable treatment plans for patients with sleep disorders are recommended.

We strongly recommend that patients who require evaluation for potential Sleep disorders as per the causes and symptoms above, should contact /be referred to SleepScan. We will coordinate with the patient, schedule the study at home/ hospital and carry out the PSG. The report will be available the following day and the patient will be counseled regarding any treatment required by qualified, experienced and renowned Pulmonologist and trained staff. A copy of the report and advice to patient will be forwarded to the referring doctor.
Quality and Cost of PSG: The Quality of the Polysomnography and reporting will be comparable to that in the best hospitals whereas the cost to the patient will be lower than that in the large hospitals.

The study can be done in a home setting: The polysomnography may be carried out in the comfort and privacy of the patient’s home in real life conditions for a thorough evaluation.
The study may also be performed in a hospital based setting. Our team will provide this service at the hospital bedside of the patient in the hospital where he is admitted. We provide this service at a number of affiliated hospitals when required.
